Recurrent Yeast Infections Hiv

A lot of women ask, "Can a vaginal fungal infection lead to bloating?" Their reason for asking this is bloating is a symptom of a fungal infection, but they don't understand why. Thousands of women don't catch on that the fungus breeding in their vagina is connected to what's happening inside their digestive tract, and this is what's causing the bloating.
Your vaginal yeast infection and your bloating are caused by a bacterial imbalance in your intestines, and your symptoms start to appear when this imbalance gets more in favor of the infection causing fungus AKA Candida Albicans.
The Candida yeast usually live harmlessly inside your intestines and vagina, and on your skin until it is given the chance to mutate into its more aggressive form. This is when the yeast will become a problem, and it will start causing your symptoms.
When you're more bloated than usual, this is one of the symptoms of a bacterial imbalance of your intestines. The mutated yeast is a gas forming bacteria, and your gas is a sign that the yeast is over populating your intestines. You probably won't connect this with the soreness of your vagina, but this pair of symptoms are both caused by the same fungus, and that's the mutated Candida.
The most responsible cause of an intestinal Candida infection is a course of antibiotics. Antibiotics upset the natural bacterial balance in your intestines by wiping out all the bacteria which includes your friendly bacteria. Your friendly bacteria is your body's natural defence against bacterial infections. Antibiotics also weaken your immune system which is another natural defence your body has to protect you from infections.
If you have recently completed a course of antibiotics then you can guarantee that this is to blame for your fungal infection. Antibiotics are the biggest cause of Candida over growth in women's vaginas and intestines.
If you've never used anti fungal drugs before, and you're putting up with the symptoms of a fungal infection then visit your doctor ( if you haven't already ). Seeing your health practitioner will give you a proper diagnosis as searching the internet is no way of diagnosing a yeast infection.
Thousands of women try to self diagnose their infection, and they get it wrong. Just because you have an infected vagina and/or are suffering with bloating it is no guarantee that you have a yeast infection.
Once you have attained a proper diagnosis you will then know that you have a good chance your yeast infection is causing your bloating. This will make it a lot more simple to treat your infection. Your health practitioner will only diagnose your vaginal yeast infection, if you tell your health practitioner that you're suffering from gas he/she will just prescribe something for your bloating.
Your doctor won't prescribe anything for your intestinal fungal infection as a lot of doctors never diagnose an intestinal yeast infection.
If you begin to suffer from chronic yeast infections then this will back up the fact that you are suffering from a Candida infection in your intestines. Recurrent vaginal Candida infections are usually caused by an intestinal yeast infection ( candidiasis ) as the yeast infecting your intestines continually re-infects your vagina when you stop your over the counter fungal infection treatment.

QUESTION:
I have recurrent yeast infections, can it be HIV?
2 years ago in August I was involved with one guy, in September with another guy and in November with my current boyfriend of 2 years. At month 1 of dating my bf I got HIV tested which was negative. However, I did not go back 6 months after (standard window period) to take another test. Since then I have had recurrent yeast infections that won't go away and worried it's HIV? Not only are they uncomfortable for me but my bf seems to be having discomfort too, itching. Can it be? Am I worrying over nothing? Can having recurrent yeast infections stand alone as a symptom of HIV or other symptoms must be present? Someone out there please help, I am really worried.-
ANSWER:
It is unlikely but the responsible thing to do would be to discuss these concerns with your doctor and get follow-up testing for the sake of both you and your boyfriend.

QUESTION:
Recurrent yeast infection and HIV? Rapid test at the three month mark came back neg. Could I still have it?
4 months ago I got a yeast infection (which I had NEVER had before) after getting a bikini wax. I went to my obgyn and she gave me a single pill medication, Diflucan, which was to be taken orally. Then two weeks later the infection came back, though not as strongly as the first time around. I started freaking out because I know that recurrent vaginal yeast infections are symptomatic of HIV in women, and because I choose to be abstinent and have no history of drug use, I thought that the only way I could have received HIV was fromn from the bikini waxer who a) did not use gloves and b) placed her bear hands on my broken, bleeding skin. She didn't seem very professional. Anyways, I took the Rapid test at the 3-month mark and it came back negative. My question is this: what are the chances that I could have HIV, given my negative result at 3 months and the way in which I could have acquired it? Also, are rapid tests accurate? What % seroconvert after 3 months (up to 6 mo)? Freaking out!-
ANSWER:
The likelihood of contracting HIV from a bikini waxers hands is so low, I think your doctor would probably write you up in a medical journal for it if you had because it would be the biggest fluke ever. Also HIV takes YEARS to destroy your immune system, so having yeast infections shortly afterwards is not going to be remotely connected.Oral thrush treatments have quite a high failure rate, and if you aren't changing the initial causes of thrush (wearing not 100% cotton pants, wearing panty hose too much, using perfumed soaps to wash your bikini area, taking antibiotics etc) thrush is pretty likely to come back.
Stop wasting your money on HIV tests, there is literally no reason for you to even consider having HIV.

QUESTION:
Yeast infection and acute HIV?
I got a Brazilian wax two months ago. The lady didnt't use gloves, used her fingernails to peel off the hot wax, touched my labia with her fingers, and put her hand on my skin which was bleeding at the time. Two weeks later I got a yeast infection, which I got treated with a single pill (from the gyno). Now (about a month and a half later) I have another yeast infection, along with other symptoms of acute HIV such as sore throat, swollen lymph nodes, and slight fever, headaches, and muscle/joint pain. I got tested for HIV a month after the waxing incident and came back negative. I have to wait another two months to get accurate results back. My question is this: are recurrent yeast infections that don't respond to single dose medications a common symptom in acute or early staged of HIV? I'm really freaking out-
ANSWER:
Recurrent yeast infections are NOT a sign of early or acute HIV. They are a sign of LATE HIV... and if you had late HIV, your HIV tests a month ago would've been positive. So the yeast infections are not from HIV. Regrettably, many healthy women suffer from recurrent yeast infections from time to time.Unless the person who did the Brazilian wax had bleeding fingers or broken skin at the time of the waxing, you shouldn't worry about her having given you HIV. HIV dies quickly in the outside environment so transmission requires the mixing of bodily fluids - e.g. blood to blood. You wouldn't get it from someone else's intact skin, even if you were bleeding.

QUESTION:
Vaginal yeast infection and early HIV?
I got a Brazilian wax two months ago. ANSWER:
No the yeast infections have NOTHING to do with HIV and you do NOT have early signs of HIV. YOu have caught a bug and need to go see your regular doc to find what is causing your problems. For the yeast infection get meds from your regular doc. You do not need to see GYN for this at all. Also be sure you are eating lots of yogurt with live active cultures or take acidophillus capsules daily to help prevent them. Do not douche or use soap in the vaginal area as that can also cause infections. Make sure your underwear is 100% cotton (read the label). For now go see your primary doc and get checked out and treated for everything.
