Natural Yeast Infections Treatments

Today I will provide 3 solutions for natural relief from yeast infections. If you need relief from a burning vaginal yeast infection itch then you will get the relief you seek. Here are the top 3 things you should be using in order to achieve rapid relief from the burning itch. Lastly, find out what the most effective treatment is to eliminate a vaginal yeast infection for good.
#1. Aloe Vera Gel - You may have used this before on a sun burn but did you know it can also be applied to the vagina for the same purpose, burning. It is also effective for itching, just as a sun burn can cause itching and burning aloe vera can relieve both. Just make sure the one you use is 100% natural with no additional chemicals to avoid further irritation. Apply 2-3 times per day on the vaginal lips and just inside the vagina as well.
#2. Chickweed Ointment - This is a natural cream that is very good at providing fast relief from a female burning itch down below. Apply 2-3 times per day and just like aloe vera, make sure that it is free of added chemicals and ideally use one that is pure chickweed and a base cream with nothing else added.
#3. Slippery Elm Bark Powder - Normally found in small lozenges, the type of slippery elm you will need is the powder form that normally comes in bags weighing 500gm - 1 pound. Mix the powder with a small amount of water to create a paste and apply to all irritated areas. Just as the examples above this won't eliminate the infection on its own BUT it will help you manage to get through the intense symptoms.
So want something that will provide dramatic relief? There is a type of natural treatment that wipes out over 85% of all yeast infections before they can even begin. QUESTION:
OT - Yeast infection natural treatments? Input from other moms.?
Have a wonderful little yeast infection and was wondering if anyone has used any natural treatments with success. Mainly looking into the plain yogurt treatment, as I have a new container of some in the fridge and don't want to make any ventures out of the house in this heat.
So, any success? Any other suggestions.-
ANSWER:
"So, any success?"No. However -- I have been able to stop it in its tracks _if I notice early enough_ by tweaking my diet -- all fresh stuff, no sugar. Lack of sugar and white starch seems to be key. But if it's far gone, I'd forget it and dash to the drugstore. Good luck...

QUESTION:
Natural Yeast Infection Treatment During Pregnancy?
I'm 33 weeks preg. today and I know infections can cause premature labor this late which is why I need help fast! I was diagnosed w/ a yeast infection and prescribed a 3-day suppository. I've heard 3 day treatments don't work during preg. and that what I was prescribed can cause birth defects (although so rarely it's not considered a risk...not good enough for me). The clinic where I go has proven incompetant many times (I have no other choice, so I really can't do anything but do most of my own research, which is why I ask a lot of questions here), and I don't trust them with this. Are vinegar or baking soda baths safe/effective during pregnancy? Does anyone else know of a non-drug treatment which is safe while pregnant? For those who will attack me, I am not going against doctors' orders and being neglegent...I'm honestly trying to do what's best for my baby's health, which is not always what is advised by these docs. Thanks to everyone who offers advice.-
ANSWER:
Sweetie, listen. when your pregnant your body goes thru so many different changes it crazy but when i was pregnant i did get , a very common in pregnancy, an infection. it was kind of a yeast infection, cause it had all the syptoms but it was and actual "yeast infection" . My obgyn gave me a suppository, just like yours, for 3 days and the infection is gone. I got this infection twice. My son is 100% health and he's great. Im pretty sure that a doctor or clinic would give you anything that would harm you baby. Believe me when i say that i know what your going through. You want everything to be perfect with your baby. but im pretty sure that what you have is what i had.
take ur medication and it would go away in 3 days.

QUESTION:
Natural Yeast Infection Cures Treatments?
i am taking antibiotics and now i have a yeast infection. I am not happy.is there any way i can get rid of the infection naturally? any tip will be appreciated thanks-
ANSWER:
Plain pro-biotic yoghurt - there's nothing in Greek yoghurt that will help, the reason pro-biotic yoghurt helps is because it contains lactobacillus acidophilus, a bacterium that creates hydrogen peroxide that kills yeast. There's argument about whether eating it helps as it goes through digestive system and not via the vagina, but I know when I feel ill my vaginal health is effected and fact is bacteria from your anus will linger round your vagina - unpleasant, but they are the facts - so better it be healthy bacteria! You may prefer to take acidophilus tablets.Another edible solution is drinking either cranberry or blueberry juice (or taking cranberry tablets), these help by effecting the pH of your urine - the theory here is that as the urine passes over your vulva it may be of some help in fighting off the yeast beasties, or at least ease some discomfort.
Plain pro-biotic yoghurt is best applied directly to your genitals, you can plaster it onto your vulva before bed, you can fill a syringe to insert into your vagina, or personally I recommend freezing in ice cube trays as an easy way to insert and cooling too. Do this overnight, wear a CLOTH pad or old underwear to bed then wash with water in the morning - commercial pads are a major cause of such infections so they're a no-no, and obviously anything chemical near your vagina like soap is a no-no.
Garlic - not great smelling, but works well as it's a natural anti-fungal, you do literally take a garlic clove, peel and insert. Be careful not to score the clove as it may sting, and you may want to tie some clean thread around it so it's easier to remove.
Tea tree oil - you can insert a few drops into your vagina and around your vulva, but to some women this is too uncomfortable, so instead try having a jug near the toilet to fill with water and add a few drops then wash it over your genitals when you go to the toilet...no reason to do it specifically then, it's just a handy time to do it. Same can be done with a mix of 1 tablespoon potassium sorbate to a cup of water, or 1 teaspoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide to a cup of water, or liter of water and 2 tablespoons of white or cidar vinegar, or Juice of half a lemon, or 1 teaspoon vitamin C.
Gentian violet - this stuff is cool, it turns your snatch purple which is sort of freaky, it's a very old natural anti-fungal, you plaster it onto your genitals and that's that...well, you have to wear old underwear and use old sheets when you sleep as it will stain anything it comes into contact with. Use it once or twice a day for a few days.
Another old one is Boric Acid - yes it sounds scary, but it's safe, you just load up about 600 mg into a couple of gel capsules then insert them into your vagina where your body heat will desolve the capsules and the boric acid will kill off the yeast.
