Natural Cure For Yeast Infection Of The Skin

Using yogurt is considered to be a popular cure for yeast infection, especially plain, and sugarless yogurt without coloring or any fruit. Both men and women can use yogurt to cure for their infections. You can eat, or directly apply yogurt to your infected areas. You will find some benefits of using yogurt as your method to cure for yeast infection in this article.

The yogurt, which can be used to cure for yeast infection, should contain live cultures. So, before buying any yogurt, just look at the label and make sure that you see something like "contains active cultures". This type of yogurt contains good bacteria which can help eliminating your infection by taking control of the bad bacteria in your body system.

So, there is a battle between good bacteria and bad fungus going on in your body. However, bad fungus could win the battle because of the trouble which is caused by yourself, such as, the use of antibiotics, the use of steroids, having poor diet, having weight problems, immune system, and others.

Normally, many sufferers are trying to cure for yeast infection by using lotions, creams, or pessaries. However, these products are just taking care of the symptoms, not attacking the root cause. Besides, bad fungus can build up a resistance to these products since they are based on drugs. This is the main reason why the infection keep coming back all the time.

Yogurt can be used to cure for yeast infection by eating or applying it to the affected areas of your body. In addition, you can add the good bacteria to your gastrointestinal tract by eating active cultures plain yogurt every day. By doing this, you can help the good bacteria to win the battle in your body and set the balance back again. Besides, bad bacteria cannot multiply and spread the infection to the other parts of your body.

If you would like to cure for yeast infection on the body parts, such as, penis, vagina, anus, or skin, yogurt can be applied directly over the area with the infection, and the good bacteria will do the rest. In case of vaginal infection, a tampon can be coated in the yogurt before inserting. If you do this every night, the symptoms should be gone within seven days.

Even yogurt can be used to cure for yeast infection, but it also depends on the location of the infection, and how serious of the symptoms as well. Aside from using yogurt, you can cure the infection by using other treatments, such as, changing your diet, or changing your lifestyle also.

Any kind of anti-fungal cream or spray should work. Yeast is a bacteria. You should use a cream that contains fluconazole. It should work. Just make sure you don't have sex until you and your partner have treated the problem because you can continue to pass it back and forth and never get rid of it.

    I REALLY NEED THIS INFORMATION!!!
P.S. Don't say to go to my doctor, I don't want to, embarrassment, mainly. But still, no doctor.

    • ANSWER:
A guy wrote to me once before about him having a possible yeast infection. If the infection is mainly external try washing around your crotch and around your balls with distilled vine ger every day for a week or two. Vinegar kills germs and fungus. I would even do a light rubbing down of your penis with a washcloth dabbed with vinegar to make sure it doesn't spread. Once it goes away try applying baby powder to your crotch area and your penis and balls to help keep it dryer down there. This advice worked for him. I can't say if eating yogurt would help but you can get a yeast infection without sexual activity. I would imagine if you have an area of your body that is usually very warm and sweaty that there is a possibility that an infection could start up in that area.

  5. QUESTION:
How to get rid of a yeast infection quickly?
Okay, I'm 11, never had my period before, and I may have a yeast infection. I think I do, I have all the symptoms (cottage cheese-like discharge, red skin on the outer vagina, unusual lumps that may hurt, itchy crotch, burning while urinating), and I'm way too nervous to go to my mom about it. I have a male doctor that I would feel funny going to. I've heard plain yogurt works, and I'll try that if nothing else works. I wanted an answer to something I had heard: is it true that putting honey on your vagina for at least 5 minutes can banish a yeast infection? If it can (or can't), and you have any more suggestions, please tell me, it's really hard going to school with this itchiness, and I know that Chronic yeast infections are nearly impossible to cure.

    • ANSWER:
Don't start putting honey or yogurt or any other food in your vagina. It's so weird that people perpetuate these notions. I assure you that your mom has had to deal with yeast infections before, it's a perfectly normal (albeit annoying) part of being a woman. You really don't need to feel nervous or embarrassed about talking with her about it. And, at your age, get used to having awkward conversations with mom, since Aunt Flo is coming to visit you in the next couple years anyway. ;)

Your best bet on your first one is to have it diagnosed for sure first. Again, you're reaching an age where you are going to have to start having a doctor look around down there anyway, so if you're uncomfortable with a man, ask to switch to a woman. No one will be bothered, trust me.
