Yeast Infections Symptoms Cures

What if curing a yeast infection permanently became so simple that all you had to do was visit your local grocery store or health food store?
If you would like to finally eliminate yeast infections from your life, feel more energetic and enjoy better health without using potentially dangerous prescription drugs, then this might be the most important information you'll ever read.
Have you ever tried to treat yourself in the past without success, ending up frustrated or intimidated? Learn how to get rid of yeast infections using natural methods without side effects.
First you should familiarise yourself with the symptoms of a yeast infection. Many women use antifungal medicines when they don't really have a yeast infection and that can boost their risk of getting a hard-to-treat infection in the future. Therefore, it is crucial to know the symptoms of yeast infections.
***What are the symptoms of a vaginal yeast infection?
The most common symptom of a yeast infection is intense itchiness in and around the vagina. Other symptoms are burnig, redness, swelling of the vagina and the surrounding area. You may experience pain when urinating and pain or discomfort during sex. You may notice a thick, white vaginal discharge that looks like cottage cheese that does not have a bad smell in the beginning of infection. These symptoms vary between mild to severe and not everyone develops all of them.
***What are the causes of vaginal yeast infections?
Many things can change the acidity of the vagina and boost your chances of a yeast infection. Common environmental disruptions that favor yeast include increased pH, increased heat and moisture, allergic reactions, poor diet and or increased sugar intake, hormonal fluxes during your period, taking birth control pills, and reductions in the populations of bacteria that are normally present. Stress, lack of sleep, sickness, diseases such as poorly-controlled diabetes and HIV infection are all major causes.
***What are the most common "cures" for yeast infections?
The usual treatmants are antifungal medicines in the form of creams, tablets, ointments or suppositories that are inserted into the vagina. These products can be bought over-the-counter at the drug store or grocery store. Doctors may also prescribe a single dose of oral fluconazole. But it is becoming more common that infections do not respond to these drugs.
Regrettably, the truth is that prescription or over-the-counter drugs don't get to the root of the problem. They just mask over your symptoms. They may help you to cope with your immediate symptoms, but they don't correct the long term cause of yeast infections.
Prescription drugs can have bothersome side effects like vaginal burning, stomach upset, loss of appetite, altered taste, diarrhea, nausea, headache or dizziness. There are women who experience allergic reactions to these drugs resulting in rashes, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing… and the list goes on.
Of course, not all women will experience these side effects and for some these drugs work quite well, but any time that someone introduces drugs into their body the risks are increased.
In fact, one of the drugs commonly prescribed for yeast infections – Butoconazole – was mentioned in a recent ABC News report. Of all drugs on the market, Butoconazole is among the top ten drugs reported to the FDA for causing adverse reactions.
Unfortunately, vaginal yeast infections are very common. About 75% of women have a yeast infection during their lives and almost half of women have two or more yeast infections.
***Therefore, it is very important to pay attention to your body and your diet to prevent yeast infections from ever occurring. Here are some tips that can help prevent yeast infections:
1. Avoid douching with water as this causes an imbalance of the pH in the vagina.
2. Do not wear tight thongs and g-strings that leave no room to breath.
3. Avoid clothing that fits tightly at the crotch.
4. Avoid scented feminine hygiene products, harsh cleansers, perfumed soaps, deodorant tampons/sanitary pads.
5. Change out of your wet swimsuit as soon as possible after swimming.
6. Reduce your intake of foods which are rich with yeast such as breads, sourdough, bagels, cakes and beer.
The symptoms of yeast infections such as intense itching, redness, burning, vaginal discharge, painful urination and painful sexual intercourse, severely reduce your ability to enjoy life as you should.
The fact is that discovering how to get rid of the symptoms of a yeast infection is the easy part! It's how to stop them from recurring and to get rid of yeast infections for good that's the hard part.
Though it may seem hard to believe… The hidden, biochemical cause, the real reason for yeast infections has been discovered along with a drug-free cure that gives permanent relief to yeast infection sufferers.
Finally, there is a way to get rid of yeast infections for good.
You should never again let yeast infections interfere with your life.

i'm diabetic and recently i've had a bit of trouble
please can someone explain to be about yeast infections, cures, symptoms and do i necessarily have to see a Doctor?
thanks for your help x-
ANSWER:
you can go to the drugstore and get Monistat or a similar product. They keep these things where the pads and tampons are. I would recommend getting the 3 day or 7 day product. They have 1 day treatment, but I have found they don't clear up the infection completely.
Symptoms are itchiness in the area which can range from mild to severe. Try not to itch too much b/c it will make it worse.
Thick white discharge that may be clumpy or just really thick. It should NOT have a foul, or fishy odor.
Possibly burning when you pee
The labia may be red or even swollen from itching.
I have suffered from yeast infections b4, and they r NO fun. I never had to go to the doctor for it b/c the products at the store cured them.
I eat a container of yogurt daily. The active live cultures help keep these nasty buggers away. I haven't had a YI in 3 years since I eat my daily dose of yogurt. They also sell the active cultures in pill form if you don't like yogurt

QUESTION:
What is the best way to cure yeast infection once and for all? I am tired of the symptoms of yeast infections?-
ANSWER:
The best way to reduce yeast infection naturally is to use diet based approach to limit the growth of candida yeasts. Eating yogurt is one such way to suppress yeast infection. I personally find drug based approach useless as you have to keep using drugs and too much drug is definitely not good for your health. Also healthy body gives you healthy immune system, which will help you fight yeast infection, therefore you should combine exercise with dietary approach to combat yeast infection.I hope this helps

QUESTION:
do over the counter products cure yeast infections or do they just relieve some symptoms?
dont wanna go to the doc and spread open for them to go diggin so i wondered if the otc stuff cured it or just relieved symptoms-
ANSWER:
if you really want to get rid of yeast infection then you must follow these tips - they worked for me:1) Eat yogurt!!!! It contains helpful bacteria (live cultures, including acidophilus and bifidus) that destroy yeast. Use only plain yogurt with active cultures.
2) Douche with a solution of 1 to 3 tbsp. vinegar in a quart of water. Repeat once a day while having symptoms, but no longer than a week.
3) Decrease or eliminate sugar and sugary foods. Sugar promotes yeast growth.
4) Use a garlic clove as a suppository. Garlic contains a natural anti-fungal agent.
5) also you should use some herbal treatment. In that case Yeastrol is really good (probably the best) product that gets rid of yeast infection comparatively fast and makes you feel more confident knowing that it wont reappear again!
And of course it is better if you use full course (5 months - if I remember correctly). For me it worked very fast + I dont get yeast infections anymore (almost 2 years) ...
