Yeast Infections Treatment Natural – Infections Treatment Be Gone!

You're about to learn a simple, affordable home remedy for a vaginal yeast infection. More women are looking for an alternative yeast infection treatment. With a home yeast infection cure you don't have any of the side effects associated with over the counter anti fungal drugs. And another benefit of using this natural home remedy is, the Candida yeast living in your vagina can't become resistant like they can to an anti fungal treatment.

Your yeast infection

Your yeast infection is caused by a bacterial imbalance inside of your vagina. When you use an anti fungal cream this balance is made worse instead of better. This is one of the reasons many women start to suffer from recurrent yeast infections. An anti fungal cream or suppository will kill all of the bacteria inside of your vagina, and that includes the friendly bacteria that is there to keep the Candida yeast under control.

You have a yeast infection already because the friendly bacteria can't do it's job properly because it is outnumbered by the mutated Candida yeast. When the anti fungal cream or suppository kills all the bacteria in your vagina there is no defense left to fight against the repopulating Candida fungus. This is why some women are unfortunate enough to have their yeast infection come back worse than before they treated it.

Your home remedy for your yeast infection

A home remedy for your vaginal yeast infection that is easily affordable, and is a cure that your yeast infection can't build any resistance to is a natural live yogurt. All you need to do is dip a tampon into the yogurt, then insert the tampon as you would do normally. Leave it in for an hour or two then remove it. The coolness of the yogurt will help relieve you of the itching and burning, and you just need to re-apply the yogurt and tampon when you need to. Keeping the tampon in for hours can actually make you sore.

It's important that the yogurt you purchase is a live and it doesn't contain any sugar. If it contains sugar will just feed the Candida yeast, and your infection could get worse. The friendly bacteria in the live yogurt lives naturally inside of your vagina, and this is the reason why the Candida won't build up a resistance to it.

It can get a bit messy with the dipping and inserting but this home remedy for your vaginal yeast infection has no side effects, and a lot cheaper than an over the counter anti fungal cream.

  3. QUESTION:
    Natural Yeast Infection Treatment During Pregnancy?
    I'm 33 weeks preg. today and I know infections can cause premature labor this late which is why I need help fast! I was diagnosed w/ a yeast infection and prescribed a 3-day suppository. I've heard 3 day treatments don't work during preg. and that what I was prescribed can cause birth defects (although so rarely it's not considered a risk...not good enough for me). The clinic where I go has proven incompetant many times (I have no other choice, so I really can't do anything but do most of my own research, which is why I ask a lot of questions here), and I don't trust them with this. Are vinegar or baking soda baths safe/effective during pregnancy? Does anyone else know of a non-drug treatment which is safe while pregnant? For those who will attack me, I am not going against doctors' orders and being neglegent...I'm honestly trying to do what's best for my baby's health, which is not always what is advised by these docs. Thanks to everyone who offers advice.

    • ANSWER:
      Sweetie, listen. when your pregnant your body goes thru so many different changes it crazy but when i was pregnant i did get , a very common in pregnancy, an infection. it was kind of a yeast infection, cause it had all the syptoms but it was and actual "yeast infection" . My obgyn gave me a suppository, just like yours, for 3 days and the infection is gone. I got this infection twice.

      My son is 100% health and he's great. Im pretty sure that a doctor or clinic would give you anything that would harm you baby. Believe me when i say that i know what your going through. You want everything to be perfect with your baby. but im pretty sure that what you have is what i had.

      take ur medication and it would go away in 3 days.

  4. QUESTION:
    OT - Yeast infection natural treatments? Input from other moms.?
    Have a wonderful little yeast infection and was wondering if anyone has used any natural treatments with success. Mainly looking into the plain yogurt treatment, as I have a new container of some in the fridge and don't want to make any ventures out of the house in this heat.
    So, any success? Any other suggestions.

    • ANSWER:
      "So, any success?"

      No. However -- I have been able to stop it in its tracks _if I notice early enough_ by tweaking my diet -- all fresh stuff, no sugar. Lack of sugar and white starch seems to be key. But if it's far gone, I'd forget it and dash to the drugstore. Good luck...

  5. QUESTION:
    Want to know a natural treatment for yeast infection?

    • ANSWER:
      Things which can kill good pro-biotic bacteria include:

      * Anti-biotics
      * Birth Control Pills
      * Steroidal/hormonal drugs
      * Fluoride
      * Chlorine
      * Coffee/Tea/Carbonated Drinks
      * Synthetic vitamins
      * Radiation
      * Stress
      * Additives
      * Pesticides
      * Fertilisers

      The best way to prvent thrush is to regularlyl take a probiotic, the igher CFU's (colony forming units) the better.

      * Get onto a probitoic as soon as you can – this will help the actual problem of a bacterial inbalance and will get to work right away. The good bacteria will begin to grow and out-number the bad bacteria.

      * Natural live yogurt contains a pro-biotic called acidophilus. However, the level of pro-biotics in yoghurt is quite low, so it can take a little more time to help, which can be frustrating especially if itching is a problem. You can eat the yoghurt as much as you like, some women swear by inserting some plain natural yoghurt into their vagina. You can soak a tampon in natural yoghurt, (differentiate just unsweetened from true natural yoghurt) and insert into the vagina for 2 hours, then change for new one.

      * A clove of garlic inserted into your vagina. This is very effective and works quickly. Find out all the details and how to’s here....http://www.midwiferytoday.com/articles/garlic.asp?a=1&r=1&e=1&q=garlic

      * Avoid underwear that is tight or contains materials like lycra and other fabric which reduces air circulation – cotton is best. Avoid underwear wherever possible – not a good idea though if you are going to work and wearking a skirt! Around the home and overnight is a good start.

      * Avoid tight jeans or trousers where possible – opt for skirts if you can.

      * Candida albicans thrive in moist, warm environments so try to avoid long, hot baths.

      * Good old Gentian Violet in an aqua or water Base is still extremely effective for vag thrush (just messy & ‘out there’ being bright purple) especially good for nipples & babies mouths as it is very liquid and soaks into all the crevices in the tissues which a gel like Daktarin cannot.

      * Douching isn’t recommended

      * Try avoiding yeast – lot of women swear that yeast in their diet increases the growth of candida. It’s often present in iron tonic supplements so check list of ingredients when taking these.

      * High levels of sugar in diets seems to be a very common culprit, look to amending the diet primarily.
