Almost all internal yeast infection sufferers aren't aware of the fact that they should cure their infection as quickly as they can. It's not like a vaginal Candida infection where you can suffer a few symptoms for a few days, and then make the decision to cure yourself with an OTC anti fungal treatment. An intestinal yeast infection will get more extreme the longer you leave it untreated, and will ultimately infect your bloodstream.

Your internal Candida overgrowth will start by giving you some benign symptoms such as indigestion, bloating and gas

What usually happens then is you will start treating the symptoms not recognizing the fact that they are caused by fungus in your intestines. Even your doctor can't tell you that you are suffering from a bacterial imbalance in your intestines.

The next backwards progression is to be prescribed indigestion tablets, or you may just purchase them from your local drug store. When you start taking these to try and cure your acid indigestion many things begin to happen.

First the acid you're neutralizing with your attempted cure is there to breakdown your food properly. Taking the indigestion tablets causes your food to make its way into your intestines undigested. The undigested food then festers, and turns into food for bacteria and parasites as you won't be digesting it any more, they will.

While you're feeding the parasites and bacteria you will also gradually become malnourished. The protein, vitamins and minerals won't be broken down enough for your intestines to absorb them so your body won't be absorbing any goodness from your food.

Your stomach acid is also there to kill any fungus, bacteria and micro-organisms that are not suppose to enter your intestines. With the most common problem being the Candida yeast it will now make its way into your intestines continuously, and will add strength to the intestinal Candida infection you already have.

With further mutated yeast entering your intestines, and feeding on the fermented food the yeast will mutate and it will grow rhizoids. They use these to attach themselves to the walls of your intestines, and then they will feed on your intestines, and this starts to perforate them. Once the walls of your intestines are perforated poisons from the fungus enter your bloodstream.

When the poisons enter your bloodstream they start attacking other parts of your body. That's when you begin to suffer from the yeast infection symptoms that effect your concentration, your memory and your energy levels.

There are still thousands of internal yeast infection sufferers who possess these symptoms, and they still don't know they have intestinal fungal overgrowth. If you go to your doctors with the symptoms of internal fungus you will get prescribed drugs for other illnesses. Doctors cannot diagnose internal fungus as a problem for the simple reason they have nothing that can cure this type of infection, and everyone will suffer from different symptoms.

If your intestinal yeast infection is in its early stages and you're just suffering from indigestion problems then you can cure yourself easily with a herbal cure. A herbal yeast infection cure will wipe out the fungus, and promote the re-growth of friendly bacteria in your intestines.

If your intestinal yeast infection is at the stage where you're suffering from a lot of the you will have to undertake a complete diet and lifestyle change. This is the only method to use that will successfully rid your body of the Candida overgrowth.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
Had Yeast Infection Symptoms, treated with 1-day OTC treatment, still have some symptoms- what should I do?
I first had symptoms of a yeast infection about a week ago, itching and soreness in labia and vaginal area, clear discharge. I treated it with the drug store brand,1-day, over-the-counter yeast infection treatment (tioconazole). The symptoms got better at first, and I no longer have any discharge, but I am now having much more intense soreness and itching of the labia and vaginal opening. I'm very red and swollen down there. Should I treat with another over-the-counter medication (I've been reading that the 1 day treatment is not the best)? Is there something that it could be that is not a yeast infection?

    • ANSWER:
If you had a clear discharge, darlin', that's NOT a yeast infection! That clear discharge is NORMAL, and it happens every cycle. It indicates that you're in the most fertile phase of your cycle. It goes away after you ovulate.

A yeast infection, on the other hand, will produce a discharge that is clumpy and white, like cottage cheese. (Not to be confused with the milky, lotiony discharge that is common in the low-fertility part of the cycle, or the elmer's glue-type sticky, sometimes crumbly discharge in the lowest fertility part of your cycle.)

Do you use scented toilet paper, pads, or tampons? If so, the fragrances could be what is causing the irritation, and the quick fix would be to simply change to non-scented.

Another problem might also be soap. If you're using soap in that area when you bathe or shower, it could also be irritating the labia and entering into the vagina to irritate it. If you're using soap in that area, stop, and switch to a simple wipe down with some clear water.

You might also try applying a little hydrogen peroxide to the area. Wait a few moments, then pat it dry. You can also try cleansing the area with unscented baby wipes. They're a great way to freshen up without affecting the natural pH balance!

  2. QUESTION:
What if I don't treat a yeast infection right away and the symptoms seem to have cleared up?

    • ANSWER:
It can mean a few things..1) the good = that maybe it was a mild yeast infection that went away on its on. 2) the bad = that the infection has spread to a different part of your body, and even though it appears to be gone.. it may have just gotten worse. They now sell a yeast infection kit that will actually tell you if you have a yeast infection or not, before even starting the yeast infection creams. If this is your first yeast infection, go to your doctor to get tested.. just in case. If you have had them a few times before.. then.. just get that yeast infection kit.. And GOOD LUCK :)

p.s If you use a yeast infection cream, and do not actually have a yeast infection, your body will develop a tolerance to the medication.. and the cream might not be succesfull the next time..

  5. QUESTION:
Should I treat a yeast infection if I only have one symptom?
I am 8 months pregnant, I just treated a yeast infection a month ago with Monistat 3, and it worked fine. My only symptom is itching. I do not want to pay for the doctor to test for a yeast infection. So should I assume it is a yeast infection and treat it with Monistat again since it has worked before?

    • ANSWER:
I would say yes. It won't really hurt to use it if it's not a yeast infection and if the problem doesn't go away, THEN go to the doctor. I had a yeast infection 8 years ago, when I was also about 8 months pregnant and I had the itching and green discharge which is totally gross lol. I would say treat it before it gets worse. Good luck!
