Yeast Infection Women Diet

Many times have we heard we are what we eat. Unfortunately, when we talk about yeast infection and diet, this statement is so true. The food has a great role in our inner balance. Once we disturb it and not give to the body what he needs, than we start to have health problems. Yeast infection is mainly caused due to a lack of proper diet.
Candida Albicans appears due to the overgrowth of yeast bacteria in our digestive system. This is more obvious when you suffer from chronic yeast infections. There are certain conditions that favour the development of yeast fungus in your body. A lack of healthy diet is one of them as it weakens your immune system.
Yeast fungus develops very fast when you eat too many yeast based foods. Also, you may feel that you need to eat sweet foods all the time. This craving for sweets is a sign of yeast growing in your body. For a complete kill off the fungus you need stop eating sugar and honey. This is a difficult step to do and is one of the main reason why most people fail on their anti-candida diet.
Besides taking care of your diet, you need to have a very good personnel hygiene and sparkling clean house. Cleaning your tops and cooking surfaces is a must. Mainly, because the mold is very bad for your chronic yeast infection and keeps the fungus in your body. Another area where you should be take care is your bathroom.
If you suffer from repetitive yeast candidiasis you may need to avoid taking antibiotics and birth control pills. Also, tap water is not recommend it because it does contains antibiotics. The same is true for meat, especially beef which, unfortunately nowadays they are fed with lots of antibiotics and you end up taking them without you been aware of. Eating fish or organic meat, though more expensive, is an alternative to a vegetarian diet.

QUESTION:
increased soy = yeast infection?
The past two weeks or so I have dramatically changed my eating by adding 1-2 servings of soy into my diet a day. With my all bran buds I’ve been using soygood and for lunches or dinners every few days I’ve been eating veggie burgers etc. Then a few days ago I got a yeast infection. I could just be a coincidence, but I really think it has something to do with what I was eating that made me more susceptible to getting one, because I’ve never had one before and I could not think of anything that I had done differently with my body. I did a little research and found that soy actually estrogen levels in women by just having one serving a day for a week. And then I compared that with reasons why some women get yeast infections and it said that it can be due to a sudden change in hormonal levels. I was totally blown away by this, but everything just matched up so well. I’m totally convinced that this is the reason why I got the infection, and plan to take soy totally out of my diet. What do you guys think of all this?-

QUESTION:
For ladies who have had a persistent yeast infection: PLEASE HELP!!?
I need answers from women who have had a persistent yeast infection lasting beyond 1 fluconazole pill. I am talking about months/years.
Here were your symptoms:
Prefaces: You dont douche/never douche anyways, and are healthy otherwise/do not take antibiotics.
1) Of course, a yeast infection diagnosed by a medical professional.
2) Tried all the OTC meds for weeks, diligently following instructions.
3) Tried Fluconazole 1 pill/1 week plus combination with cream if that is what was prescribed.
4) Tried Terazole 7 day or 14 day treatment.
5) STILL have yeast infection after all that.
6) Infection subsides during period but comes back after your period week is over and last the other 3.
7) Very itchy vulva with lotion to face cream like discharge.
NO diabetes, NO HIV.Now side notes, PLEASE dont tell me its your underwear or diet or you stopped douching.. That is all bull now, After a year, of course I wear granny panties all time, NEVER have douched or found the need to wear deodorant anything down there. I do not use perfumed soaps on my body, only Dove my entire life. I wear SKIRTS AND DRESSES, no shorts no pants no swimming no wet clothes. Those are suggestions for people who get yeast infections that are curable from OTC monistat and stuff. I am talking about the PERSISTANT yeast infections not cured for over a year by doctors. LET ME KNOW.

ANSWER:
I used to get yeast infections really bad. I am very sensitive to everything( bubble baths, latex, soap, lotion., etc.) I would get an infection then it would go then come back and so on for over a year. I went and saw my doctor. She said not only was it a yeast infection, but it turned into an infection even the OTC drugs cant completely knock out. Now, keep in mind I was always very good on personal hygiene. I have only been with one person, and I am still with him today. I am also 22 yrs old, so I was quite concerned. My doctor told me that if women let yeast infections go over time even the OTC remedies wont work. She put me on a strong antibiotic that killed every infection it could in my body. I then got on "AZO" (you can find at any pharmacy)which prevents yeast infections. I haven't had a yeast infection in 3 yrs!!!!!
Hopefully I can be of some help.

QUESTION:
Is yeast infection dangerous ? please tell me about it..?
Is it really dangerous disease ?
I heard about Anti-Candida diet. So, Once we are healed / cured, can we stop doing the diet ? can we still eat normally, eat sugar and whatever that is not allowed when we have the infection ?
Once it is treated, is it safe ? and how long will usually the infection go away ?
Can women still have intercourse during the infection ?
Thanks
And what is the one in the mouth ? what causes it ? Can vaginal yeast infection affect the mouth yeast infection ?-
ANSWER:
Some people consider the candida diet a hoax, but it's really not a bad diet, nor is it hard to follow. There's nothing weird to eat, and no drugs to take. Drink just water. Eat meat and vegetables, being careful to get the most nutrients you can, including enough fiber and healthy carbohydrate. When you are cured, you add things back a little at a time. However, start at the doctor, and talk the whole thing over with them before starting any of this. The time varies, up to several months, depending on its severity.
